I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Throughout my academic journey, I completed an Honours Bachelor of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Social Work from King’s University College of Western Ontario.
I began my career in social work supporting individuals who have experienced difficulties relating to homelessness, addictions, mental health, chronic physical health conditions, grief and trauma. While earning my Master of Social Work, I gathered clinical experience specializing in trauma therapy with veterans, RCMP members and their families.
I have a passion for working alongside clients who are feeling held back by their past. I have supported individuals living with anxiety-related disorders, personality disorders, PTSD, complex PTSD, and moral injury. I draw on many therapeutic approaches in my practice as it allows me to create an individualized treatment plan to support each person on their unique journey towards healing and recovery.
My practice is informed by a strengths-based, person-centred, trauma-informed framework. It incorporates mindfulness, meditation, solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and somatic therapy. I recognize and value each person’s capacity for resilience and change. I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental environment to provide exceptional individual therapy.
When I am not working, you can find me streaming the latest Netflix docuseries or outdoors playing with my dogs, Stitch and Otis. :)

I believe that no matter where we start from, no matter the experiences that we’ve had in our childhood or in our relationships, or even the choices that we’ve made thus far, we can still have restorative experiences that can make us believe in transformation, healing, and change. I am a Psychotherapist and a Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW), who is here to collaborate with you on your journey to understanding what is best, true, and most right for you by recognizing the inherent wisdom that you already have within yourself. I will honour you wherever you are at, and whenever you are ready, we can begin to venture outside of your comfort zone and move towards where you would like to be and the kind of life that you would like to have.
In our work together, I am committed to empowering you; introducing you to new ways of working, caring, and being; and offering you the tools needed in order to thrive successfully. And while I am trained in a number of therapeutic modalities, I understand the importance of tailoring therapy to your needs. So, I will do my best to curate a therapeutic experience for you based on my trainings in: Attachment Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Aside from being a social worker, I am an avid reader, a believer in kindness, an earnest daughter to immigrant parents, a writer-in-learning, as well as a doggo mom to an Australian Shepherd named Obi-Wan Kenobi (Obi, for short).
